The Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in Central Asia and South Asia. In the spirit of the FIVB 2001 plan, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) was the first governing body to create five Zonal Associations at the 10th AVC General Assembly in 1993, prior to the FIVB Continental Congress that was held in September 1994. The CAVA consists of National Volleyball Federations that are affiliated with the FIVB and the AVC in the Central Asian Zone. The CAVA represents the FIVB and the AVC in Central Asia and South Asia and acts under the authority of the FIVB and AVC and in conformity with all – its statutes, regulations and decisions.
